Josh Kirby: Time Warrior or Serial Killer? (aka an unnecessarily deep dive into Josh Kirby)
Every clickbait article on Facebook, Twitter, or Buzzfeed seems to go on about how great the 90s were. Well, as someone who lived through it, I can tell you it wasn't all that great. The Phantom Menace, Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Beanie Baby craze; all equally bad. These, however, pale in comparison to what could possibly be the worst thing about the decade... the creation of the scariest children's character, ever: Josh Kirby.

Having sat through these six movies, I'm 99% sure our protagonist is a serial killer who has imagined all of the adventures we see on screen. Oh, you want proof? Are the ravings of a crazy person, driven to insanity after months of Covid-19 isolation, not good enough for you?!?  Well, here you go:
1. Josh's weird fascination with watches.
In the very first scene, we see a dresser drawer full of watches. "It's a movie about time travel, of course clocks are …

Occult and Evil in the Horrors of Vietnam

In M.I.A. A Greater Evil, a group of American college students embark on an expedition in search of gold throughout the war-torn jungles of Vietnam. The college students (Valerie Bentson, Sarah Ball, and Mark Matula) are joined by their Geology professor in search of gold along a river in Vietnam.

With past stories of French gold miners finding riches within the waters, their intrigue is not deterred by rapids, detoured routes, or talk of the War and its ominous presence over the area.

But their dreams of riches quickly unravel when an unintended detour leaves the group lost and wandering where many before them have curiously disappeared.

One of the students points out that her grandfather was a missing POW. Settling around a campfire after taking a detour, the group talks about the war and its mysteries, with some of the characters ignorantly brushing off the past.

Things take a horrifying turn when someone appears mysteriously at their camp site, and it is revealed that they are los…

This Thanksgiving, Eat Your Young

Buzzard Hollow Beef is one tasty holiday horror movie you'll want to binge. The beef-themed thriller (yes that's a genre and it's free, streaming, HD so don't judge) tells the story of Jordan Vollmer, a recently divorced single-mother heading home to her family for the Thanksgiving holiday in the mysterious town of Buzzard Hollow.
When the family and friends begin experiencing vivid hallucinations after eating locally sourced meat, they suspect the town farmers of Buzzard Hollow are to blame.

Things only get worse from there. We know everyone likes to complain about their family during the holidays right? Can you imagine combining crazy family with hallucinations, horror, cannibals, and the sheer HORROR of eating...BEEF on Thanksgiving? Nightmare incarnate. errr...en carne!

Tense table talk about politics does not hold a candle to the madness that the Vollmer clan endures in this icky flick, but what we can tell you is that Buzzard Hollow Beef may just inspire some rob…
