TheArchive wishes some of our favorites a big happy birthday today, January 20th! Musician Paul Stanley turns 70 and we have a couple flicks to make you "shout it out loud."   Turn It Up! A Celebration of the Electric Guitar  features interviews and performances by B.B. King, Slash, Les Paul, Robby Krieger, birthday boy Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, and many more. Hosted by Kevin Bacon. In 1999, Kiss participated in one of the earliest concerts to be streamed on the Internet. Unfortunately, as Kiss was about to perform, the servers crashed and over a billion people missed out! So if you missed it, we got it right here ! Also celebrating today is Lorenzo Lamas. Check him out in these two: In  American Beach House , six lucky strangers receive an all-expense paid trip to an amazing beach house. Each holiday season we dig deep into TheArchive  to provide something nostalgic that brings back that festive feeling. This year, for each day of Christmas, we're giving you another reason to watch.  So grab a comfy place to relax, curl up with some cocoa and popcorn (or just a splash of eggnog) because we've got 12 streaming stocking stuffers waiting to be unwrapped.  What better way to start than the antithesis of current release, Violent Night.  In  MY SANTA, MY DAD,  Gordon Covington's job keeps him from numerous family obligations. When he misses Christmas with his wife and kids, a grievous situation leads to his transformation into Santa Claus himself. You can see how one may confuse the two.... Next up is a "Soviet-based film" to celebrate the recent release of Brittney Griner. CANDLES IN THE DARK features Alyssa Milano, Chad Lowe, and Max Schell. Set in Soviet-occupied Estonia, a beautiful young American falls in love with a handsome rebel leader. She bec

When a greedy land developer pesters the family, a decision regarding whether to sell the farm rests solely on her uncle’s shoulders. SPEND THE HOLIDAYS WITH LIBERACE : This one's a serious throw back and oozes nostalgia thicker than the Macassar

It's the most wonderful time of the year when we throw another yule log on the fire, curl up with a loved one, and watch some holiday flix. This holiday season  TheArchive  brings you some of the most beloved pop divas and their star turns in some of our favorite deep cuts. Dolly Parton, Bjork, and Grace Jones are among the many December divas starring in our movies. So let's get started with a Christmas gem that stars Nashville's nicest and never naughtiest. In Unlikely Angel Dolly Parton plays a country music singer who meets an untimely demise and learns she can’t enter heaven until she performs a good deed back on Earth. To earn her wings, she must find a mother for a widowed father and his two children in this endearing film of hope and love. Swing is a 1999 musical romantic comedy Lisa Stansfield. This was Stansfield's film debut and she also did the soundtrack.  An ex-con (Hugo Speer) dreams of putting together a swing band and getting back with his ex-girlfrie
