Donald Glover received two nominations for his work on Mr. & Mrs. Smith: one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and another for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, which he shares with co-writer Francesca Sloane. Mr. & Mrs. Smith garnered 16 nominations, including a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Maya Erskine.
