For the first blog of the year, we wanted to highlight the most watched movie & TV series that stole the spotlight on TheArchive in 2023.

Most Watched Movie of 2023: My Brother's Wife

Barney returns home for his father's funeral. His sister-in-law Eleanor coldly picks him up at the airport, maybe because she was also Barney's first love. They go to the club where they first met, and Barney recalls the circumstances that had previously kept them apart, like his need to act out against his father, his rivalry with his more successful brother, and his own fear of commitment. My Brother’s Wife stars legendary John Ritter of Sling Blade and Three’s Company and Mel Harris from Raising Cain.

Most Watched TV Series of 2023: The Lost World

At the dawn of the 20th century, a band of adventurers go on an expedition to prove the existence of a lost prehistoric world in the Amazon, isolated from modern civilization. Soon, they find themselves trapped in this dangerous land, with only the help of a young wild woman. Now, the adventurers must survive the fearsome dinosaurs, unknown creatures, and warring tribes! The Lost World features Rachel Blakely, known from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and Peter McCauley from Spartacus and The Light Between Oceans

My Brother's Wife took us on an emotional journey, exploring the complexities of family dynamics, love, and the ghosts of our past while The Lost World transported us to a realm where prehistoric wonders and wild landscapes became the backdrop for a wild ride. Happy watching!
