πŸŽƒ A Month of Halloween: Week of Killers

October is the time of year when we, as a collective, can explore the dark and macabre. As Halloween nears, we immerse ourselves in stories of the supernatural, death, possessions, and the eerie world of killers. The creepy allure of horrifying killer/true-crime stories, documentaries, and TV series reminds us that the darkest aspects of human nature can be just as fascinating as their supernatural counterparts.

These tales of depravity and evil take us down a disturbing rabbit hole of the human psyche. We delve into the minds of these murderers, trying to fathom what could drive a person to commit such heinous acts. These narratives force us to confront the darkest aspects of human nature, prompting us to question the boundaries of morality and sanity.

With Halloween creeping just around the corner, finish off this month of horror series with the movie Killers (1996) directed by Mike Mendez. This film starts off with brothers Kyle and Odessa James being found guilty of the murder of their parents and are sentenced to death. Shortly before their execution, the two shockingly escape from prison. The brothers hide out at a seemingly unsuspecting family home. When they find the Ryan family strangely easy to manipulate, they get comfortable, having no idea that this family harbors violent secrets of their own.

After watching Killers, watch A Deadly Vision on TheArchive. A Deadly Vision, staring Kristen Davis from Sex and the City, Ellen Burstyn from The Exorcist, and Peter Boyl from Everybody Loves Raymond, is about a waitress, Babette Watson, who experiences visions of murders that alarmingly come true. Believing that she may hold some vital clues, Babette stops by the police station where she is initially ignored, until detective Max Seagle gives her story a second listen. Convinced by Babette's premonitions, Max enlists her help in order to catch the serial killer before she becomes his next victim.

A Deadly Vision also features familiar stars like Matthew Settle from I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and Gossip Girl and Matt Ross from HBO’s Silicon Valley. A Deadly Vision is an exploration of psychic premonitions and a race against time to prevent a series of grisly murders. Enjoy the last remaining days of October by navigating the complexities of the human psyche by binging some serial killer horrors and psychological thrillers on TheArchive!
